How does the trigonometry clock work?

The hour hand of a analog clock will be projected on the unit circle. The result is the line h in the illustration to the right. The trigonometry clock will show the time ad the angle α oor as the length l. The latter will be displayed related to π, whereas the length of circumference would be 2π for the unit circle.
