What does the name "Strikodo" mean?

"Strikodo" is Esperanto and means "Barcode".

Why did you develop the App, especially because there are already many of these Apps available in the AppStore?

When searching for a barcode scanner App which fits my needs, I did not find any I liked. Indeed, there are a lot of barcode scanner Apps in the AppStore, but a large number of these spends more time in presenting ads than scanning barcodes. A large number only supports a few barcode types, often only one: QR Codes. Others only provide very limited ways to process and work with the scanned barcodes. And many are expensive, often with high subscription prices. So in the end I found none which really fit my needs, so I wrote my own. And of course developing such an App is simply fun, which is enough motivation itself :-)
